GRINSPOON - New Detention
Well the Grinner's boys are back and had us all shittin ourselves when they decided to storm back onto the airwaves with
frickin violins and Phil actually trying to sing in Chemical Heart! But thankfully, their new album has reassured us all that
the boys haven't gotten too soft during their extended break. They're back with their typical hard style with some magnificent
guitars crunching the road to glory, and Phil wailing in a way only dear Phil can pull off. However, one is left to
ponder - have the boys spent a little too much time collaborating with the dear ol' boys of Unwritten Law? I often have to
stop myself from reciting the line's of UL's 'Mean Girl' everytime Grinner's 'Lost Control' graces my ear canals. All in all,
it's an awesome album. You are not to be disappointed.
